The Rotary Club of Conroe
Connecting local business professionals with a passion for public service is the mission of the Rotary Club of Conroe. Bleyl enthusiastically supports these efforts and is pleased to announce that Travis Walker, P.E. is now a member of their Board, replacing Austin Love, P.E. Both remain Rotary Club members.
Upcoming Events
Travis is also on the Rotary Club committee for the “Spirits of Texas” fundraiser. This Halloween-themed annual event will be held October 23, and ticket sales will support local Rotary activities and Rotary International’s End Polio Now initiative. All monies raised to eradicate polio will be doubled by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
In addition, Austin is currently serving on the Rotary Committee for selecting and recognizing an outstanding Conroe police office, firefighter and Conroe Feeder School Teacher. We at Bleyl are proud of these community contributions by our staff.
More Local Fundraising
Bleyl Engineering staff recently participated in the Magnolia Education Foundation Clay Shoot “Aim High for Education” tournament and fundraiser to support MEF programs. Bleyl staff also participated in the New Danville Top Golf fundraiser. Held last month with the participation of the New Danville Board of Directors, New Danville is a community which serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
