Project Manager

Job Description

  • Provide oversight and design of land development projects in the central Texas area
  • Plan and manage municipal projects
  • Effectively present projects to clients and regulatory authorities
  • Manage project from inception to completion with minimal oversight while contributing in a team environment
  • Possess ability to effectively manage multiple projects while managing time and budget constraints

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Texas Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Effectively apply local governmental codes and technical design requirements related to site plan and subdivision development projects, including the City of Austin, Travis County, TCEQ, and LCRA, with experience in surrounding jurisdictions also preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years professional design experience, including at least 4 years’ experience in design of municipal public works projects working with municipal utility districts
  • Effectively utilize HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS to facilitate stormwater designs
  • Possess familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills, including cost effective and constructible designs
  • Facilitate construction observation services as needed on a per project basis
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Possess excellent written communication skills in production of professional letters and reports
  • Provide effective leadership and organizational skills
